Specialized Turbo Levo Gravel Guard
Carbon Frame Models 2019/20/21
This gravel gaurd was developed specifically for the
Specialized Turbo Levo Comp -Modell 2019/20/21
with the aluminium frame.
It is composed out of carbon fiber and rubber
in a special vulcanized manufacturing process
under extreme tempature and intensive pressure.
The upper section of carbon fiber is very strong and
stable whereas the lower section out of rubber remains
flexible.
The inside of the guard which lays against the frame,
is a layer of rubber.
For mounting the guard a montage strip of 3M "Dual Lock"
Industrial-Velcro is pre-mounted.
Before you start do couple "dry-runs" where the
guard will be placed to be familiar with the final position
that it is correctly centered, level and not rubbing the tire.
After you have practiced, pull the paper away to
expose the adhesive on the 3M-Velcro.
Press the guard in the lower rubber area
as shown below onto the swing arm,
that it lays in the correct position
with the rubber edge snug on the swing arm.
Check again if the guard is in the
correct position and with even firm pressure
on the area of the Velcro adhesive with
both thumbs on each side.
It is immediately ready to rock the trail!
It is recommended to occassionally remove
the guard and check if any foreign material
is trapped.
